Tanzania Optometric Association (TOA) was formed to look after the interests
of the optometrists. TOA liases with the Government bodies and encourages
professional conduct amongst its members
TOA has organised
its conference 2007 to promote optometry as a primary health care profession.
More information on the TOA AGM of 2007 will come up on the website soon. We
apologize that the website has not been updated in a long time, and we will
keep posting more updates regularly
This
year's AGM also pays tribute to Dr Valerian Lyimo
who was the association's president up to 2004.
